"Pan Spherica" is a deep album, and Lutz Thuns and Harald Bertram take full advantage of the meditative aspects of the sound here. There’s a whole lot going on, plenty of small elements holding hands to make large musical gestures.The drum-driven pieces open the space for some solar moods, and then it’s pared back as we are guided into our darker spaces and allowed to immerse ourselves there. An excellent exploration of an electro/tribal sensibility of a different kind, capable to show us that deep down our inner rituals are always connected.
